Why the Golden State Warriors are the Best Team in the NBA

The best team in the NBA this year that has the best chance of winning the NBA Finals is the Golden State Warriors. The facts all lead to this conclusion.  Statistically the warriors have the best record in the NBA and have beaten great teams.  Also they have the best Basketball player right now in Stephen Curry along with the very great and versatile Draymond Green.  Lastly the Golden State Warriors are returning champions who have experience in winning the finals just last year.  

The Warriors this year have record this year of 48 wins and only 4 losses.   The next best team, the San Antonio Spurs is 4 games behind that.  In addition to this the Warriors have already proven themselves by beating the spurs.  The next two best teams the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are 9 and 7 games back.  Also the Warriors have already beaten the Cavaliers by a huge amount of 40 points.  Since the warriors have such a large lead of the next best teams they are definitely favorites to win the NBA championship.

Great basketball players make great basketball teams.  This year Stephen Curry is the best Basketball player.  The stats back this statement up.  Curry this year is averaging an astounding 29 points per game, by far the greatest average in the NBA.  He is also doing this while making 50 percent of his shots, which is great efficiency.  With such a great player it will be hard for any team to beat the warriors come playoff time.  In addition to Stephen Curry the Warriors also have Draymond Green.  Draymond Green has proved his greatness as a defensive player by always guarding the best player on the opposing team.  The statistics also back his offensive game.  He has a league best 9 triple doubles.

One more reason for why the Warriors will probably win the NBA Finals is their experience.  They are the most recent team to win the Finals and have kept practically all their players.  As a team who knows what it takes to win they will have the best shot to win the Finals again this year.

In conclusion the Golden State Warriors are the best team in the NBA and have the best shot to win the NBA Finals for a number of reasons.  They have the best record in the NBA and have beaten great teams.  Also they have two Great players in Stephen Curry and Draymond Green.  Lastly they have the experience that is required to win an NBA finals. 

Super Bowl 50

The Denver Broncos won there 3rd franchise Super Bowl against the Carolina Panthers. Panthers offense found no rhythm against Von Miller and the Broncos defesne. The Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller followed Panthers quarterback, Cam Newton everywhere. Von Miller ended the game with 6 tackles in total, 2.5 sacks, and to forced fumbles. At the offense side for the Broncos, Peyton Manning didn't have his best game. He didn't throw a touchdown, he had a interception, and threw for less than 150 yards. Cam Newton didn't have a horrible game but he had a bad game. He didn't throw a touchdown but had 265 yards. Cam Newton received a lot of hate for walking out of of the press conference after the game. The Panthers had one of the best seasons in NFL history and look to make the Super Bowl next year again. While Peyton Manning is deciding to retire from the NFL. 

Cam Newton Giving Back

This year one of the best players in the NFL is Cam Newton.  Despite many injuries to his offense Cam has led his team to a very impressive 10-0 start and has put himself directly into the MVP conversation with Tom Brady.

Cam Newton is also making a great impact off the field.  This year on Monday, a few days before Thanksgiving he hosted his annual Thanksgiving dinner for 900 under privileged kids through the Cam Newton Foundation.  Cam newton even had a mini-dance competition at the dinner to make the event fun.

With all the recent NFL controversies its great to see one of the leagues greatest players making a great impact and being a positive role model that youth can look up to for many reasons.  Personally Cam Newton inspires me to think about others and to give back to my community.

Why the 49ers are the Worst Team in the NFL

The worst team in the NFL today is the San Francisco 49ers.    Since the NFC Championship game two years ago they have been slowly but surely deteriorating and now are horrible.  Statistically they have one of the worst win-loss records in the NFL and have scored a terribly low amount of points.  Several examples that demonstrate their demise are their games against the Cardinals, Seahawks, and Steelers.  One of the main reasons that explain why they are so bad is the loss of so many of their best players.

9 games into the season the 49ers are 3-6.  They have double the amount of losses as wins.  Only 6 teams have a worse record and it’s by only one game.  The 49ers have the worst points-per-game average in the NFL at 14. 

That is hideous for an NFL team through four quarters.

Three of examples games that show how bad the 49ers are their games against the Steelers, Cardinals, and Seahawks.   In the Steelers game they allowed their opponent to score 43 points and only managed to score 18 themselves.  While it might make sense to assume the 49ers would play better the next week after such humiliating defeat, they didn’t.  Instead they allowed their opposition the cardinals to score 47 points and only put up 7.  The 49ers have continued to display their incompetence as an NFL team by scoring only 3 points against the Packers and Seahawks.

Several more reasons show why the 49ers are the worst team in the NFL.  Last offseason they lost practically all of their best players including Patrick Willis, Frank Gore, their great coach Jim Harbaugh, and many more players.  A team who managed to lose all their best players and coach is clearly a horrible team.  To add to this the 49ers starting quarterback has been benched for a player who hasn’t played in two years.

In conclusion the 49ers are the worst team in the NFL.  That have one of the worst records in the NFL and can`t seem to score points.  Also in several games they have played abysmal.  Lastly the loss of all their best players and the benching of their quarterback show any reasonable person that they are a horrible team.  That is why the 49ers are the worst team in the NFL.

Dez Bryant Injuried

Dez Bryant, one of the best Wide Receivers in the NFL, broke a bone in his left foot. He will be out for 4 to 6 weeks. Regardless of this injury which occurred in the end of the first half, the Cowboys happened to win the game with only 7 seconds left. Dez Bryant will be missed by the Cowboys in the next weeks. They will look to beat eagles week.

3 Things to look forward to watching in Thursday Night Football

The NFL 2015-16 Season Kickoff is only 2 days away. The game takes place on Sunday at 8:30. The two teams, Patriots and Steelers are playing. If those two teams are not one of your favorite teams, here are some reasons why you should still watch it.

1. NFL Season Kickoff

The last football game was 7 months and 10 days or 222 days ago. So if you like football you would probably miss watching it. Regardless of which teams are playing its still the first game in 33 weeks.

2. Tom Brady

Tom Brady, the MVP of Superbowl 49 suspension was canceled which with him playing in it will make it more interesting. The Steelers said that they are happy that Tom Brady is playing and not Jimmy Garoppolo. We have to wait and see if Tom Brady will make the Steelers regret wanting him to play.

3.  Steelers Offense

One of the better offenses in the league are not going to have Le'veon Bell, there star running back for the first 2 games of the season. Regardless they still have Ben Roethlisberger, a star Quarterback and Antonio Brown, a top 3 Wide Receiver on Thursday. It will be fun watching them play.

Tom Brady's 4 Game Suspension lifted

Tom Brady was suspended for 4 games in the beginning of the 2015-16 NFL Season, but on the 3rd of September, his suspension was lifted. For Patriots fans or Tom Brady fans, this is great news. Now that the Deflate gate is finally over, the Patriots can focus on  winning. With their new WR, Reggie Wayne, Tom Brady has a new weapon and looks to win their 5 ring.
